Customer Installations
Park Ridge
Butler's Pantry
My customer expanded the footprint of their 1912 four-square, by bumping out the back and south exteriors walls of their home. To 'open up' the floor plan of the first floor, an interior load barring wall was removed, which allowed the newly enlarged kitchen and family room den to become one space. Wanting somehow to still keep the kitchen and family room den, somewhat separate, yet open,a set of butlers pantry base and upper cabinets we installed. The fronts of the cabinets face the kitchen. The uppers are leaded glass. The wooden backs of the upper cabinets were removed, and we created and installed arts and crafts style panels in it's place, giving a pleasing, open feel front and back.
